The Peter Read Miller Sports Photogrpahy Workshop returns to Las Vegas after a fantastic class in 2022. In addition to lectures, demonstrations,and special guests the class will photograph the UNLV/Wyoming football game as well as other college sports. We will also shoot acrobatic performers training for many of Las Vegas' top shows, and shoot from the fence at the Las Vegas Days Rodeo.
Students are expected to edit their work every night and present samples the next morning for review and critique,
Peer Will be assisted by former Sports Illustrated Director of Photography Steve Fine. In addition to discussing "what makes a great sports photo", Steve will work with the students on refining and improving their portfolios,
Although Canon Cameras will provide a selection of their latest gear for the students to work with, the workshop welcomes students shooting with any professional system.. We will also have lighting equipment provided by Westcott Lighting for portrait opportunities,
Due to the number of big events happening in Las Vegas at the time of the workshop there will only be a limited number of discounted rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn. They will go quickly.
