The Q&A project will work with LGBTI events, venues and safe spaces, offering practical assistance, financial support and advice as well as promoting accessible events to the LGBTI and disability communities. Project Officers Sarah Collins and Jack Meakins both have lived experience of LGBTI identities and disability, as well as professional experience in both LGBTI and disability sectors. While they each have different experiences within their LGBTI and disability identities, both have on many occasions experienced being the only person with visible disability in a queer space and the only openly LGBTI person in a disability space.
