In light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, OSHAcademy has created a new course.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) developed a planning guide to help prevent exposure to infectious diseases.  The new guide is based on traditional infection prevention as well as industrial hygiene practices.

OSHAcademy course 638 Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19 focuses on the need for employers to implement engineering, administrative, and work practice controls and personal protective equipment (PPE).  It also introduces you to the Infectious Disease Prevention and Response (IDPR) Plan for controlling COVID-19 and other infectious diseases in the workplace.

Once you have registered you will be sent a link to be able to register for the class on Zoom.  Please do so immediately.

You will be sent a copy of the class booklet 1 hour befor the class begins. Please print it if you can, or simply have available for review.

There will be an multiple choice exam at the end of the course. Complete 70% of the questions correctly in order to pass.
