Join other parents from the Knoxville/Powell community to hear from Dr. Heather Sedges Wallace, co-founder and co-director of UT’s Center for Parenting, and Heather Kyle-Harmon, Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent for UT Extension Knox County. These leaders in parenting training will discuss parenting stress and how it affects the quality of parenting and will provide real strategies for managing such stress. Choose a breakout session covering (1) parenting from birth through fifth grade or (2) parenting adolescents with a focus on the challenging impact of technology on today's teens. Dr. Wallace will share ideas from her "Digi-Life" curriculum, which is dedicated to helping families navigate the impact of technology in their everyday lives.
