Dress code:
Please keep in mind, this is only a guideline, but I do know a LOT of our clients ask this question.
Because of it, it would be very helpful for the resorts to use the terminology I have used, so it can be
crossed referenced in the itineraries you send out.
How to Dress and What to Wear: As the Dominican resort destinations are all warm-weather, year-round, we certainly do not want our guests to be uncomfortable. Please know the definitions below are only a guideline because so many clients have asked us to define “what to wear”. Nevertheless, do not forget your swimsuits and cover wear! You will be needing those quite a bit!
Lastly, when the itinerary is sent out, they will advise you the best way to dress, but as a general rule of thumb:
o Around the resort; mornings and afternoons: Resort Casual
o Activities: Active wear
o Evening events: Resort Chic
o Shoes: This deserves its own definition. Remembering you are at a beach resort, those 5-inch heels do not work very well in the sand. Wedges truly are the best sandal to wear, and of course flats. For men, boat shoes, or sturdier sandals work well.
