Anjelica Hadsell was a 2014 graduate of Norview High School.  She was attending Longwood University as a freshman when her life was tragically taken at the age of 18.   Her friends and family have created a memorial scholarship as a way to create something positive out of a negative situation.  Anjelica touched so many lives and was a leader both on and off the field. From her days of playing teeball to playing varsity sports for four years at Norview to club softball and field hockey at Longwood, she loved to play sports.  She loved the competition and the relationships that were created.  Anjelica liked to give back to the community and do things for others.  She volunteered her time with various organizations and participated in the Polar Plunge raising money for Special Olympics.  She was a natural leader and it is fitting that this scholarship be named in her honor.  The scholarship will help a deserving Norview athlete attend the college of their choosing. This golf tournament is the 3rd annual golf tournament for the scholarship fund.
