About the Event

Your tour begins with a lively narrative of the life and adventures of the Revolutionary Patriot, Frances Marion (called the Swamp Fox), that will explain the area's love for him to this day.

We will stop at Young's Pecan Gift Shop where you can browse among the many delectable candies, jams and more.

Next we will go to the Column Plantation, which is the last working plantation in the Pee Dee (circa 1850's), to tour the beautiful home and gardens.  Then on to Websters Manor for lunch.

After lunch, we will visit the Tobacco Museum and then a special treat for you is Rosewood Manor in Historic Marion (filled with Southern Antiques and Original Art from Monet and Vonn.  You will enjoy an authentic Southern Repast of Wind or Raspberry Tea with a light Hors D'oeuvres while learning the History of this Grand Manor!!!
