Plancation 2019 - Sweet Planner High

We are bringing Tabby from the plannerDWEEB all the way from South Florida to give you a her special twist on the Common Place Book. In this workshop you’ll learn what a common place book is, how you can use it in your life, and get started using your own. Tabby is a Project Manager for a Danish Lighting Company, a Time Management Coach, a Personal Organizer and an Event Coordinator. She also has an artsy side and creative flair that you just do not expect from someone who is so system driven. Her passion for helping others get organized in a way that feels both natural and self-expressive has prompted her to create a social media presence, Facebook group, events and workshops to share ideas of how one can live an organized life that is full of color, fun and expression.

When was the last time you thought about your values? It can be easy to say that you value family, friendships, or other generic phrases, but what specifically do you value? This workshop taught by our very own Amanda Voigt will take you through exercises to see where you are actually using your talent, time and treasures. She will help you gain perspective and align those 3 T’s with YOUR values. Figure out what’s really important to track and helping you plan to stay aligned with the values that are ACTUALLY most important to you and take a deep dive into personal self reflection. *Separate workshop ticket required. This session will include a 5 page workbook for you to walk through during the session. Amanda Voigt is a Course Manger at ASU and oversees full-time faculty, manages student issues, curriculum development, factually development and manages departments data. She has developed the study abroad program in Thailand where students study mindfulness. She lives for dogs, Harry Potter, and the occasional yoga class. Join Allison Zures all the way from Chicago for a discussion and hands on session. You will spend the first part of the session discussing 5 design principles that will help you build creative confidence. Then you will participate in a series of creative challenges to use creative supplies to create your own planner stickers. Rebecca is bringing back a new messy journal project for 2019! This year she has planned for you to get BIG on your messy mini art journal. Using large pieces of paper you’ll learn to make a messy journal. Whether you are brand new to art journaling or have been doing it for years you will have a blast! Join Jennie McGarvey of the Happy Planner Squad to learn how she puts together a memory planner layout in a traditional planner. She shares how she chooses design, colors and arranges a page. She’ll be sharing her best tips and tricks to printing photos, journaling and documenting activities as you go. If time permits she will discuss how to combine good design principles, colors, and picking a theme for the week. *Separate workshop ticket required. Have you ever needed that one specific sticker for your planner but didn't have it in your stash? Or maybe you've seen beautifully drawn planner spreads and wondered how they do it. In this hands-on workshop, Bella will teach you how to easily draw a variety of doodles that you can start using in your planner right away. You will learn step-by-step how to doodle commonly used planner stickers so that you can begin personalizing your planners with your own works of art! Bella will share her tips and will break down each doodle in an easy to follow way. You will also be able to practice what you learn in an exclusive workbook that will be provided in the workshop. Even if you feel like you can't draw a stick figure, you will surely walk out of this workshop with a workbook full of your lovely new doodles.
