Attention Rifle Shooters,
PGC will host a 2 day course Advanced Rifle Marksmanship. This class is two Sundays 3 weeks apart, this class includes range time and in-depth discussion of topics presented in the PGC Rifle Marksmanship guide.
The class fee is $30 covering both sessions and materials, all students will print and read the study guide BEFORE the first session Sunday March 5th.
Bring with you; water, eye and ear protection, a rifle, ammo, rest, shooting mat etc. Leave guns cased, unloaded, in your vehicle until instructed to bring them to the line.

NRA Basic Rifle, PGC Rifle Marksmanship Guide
Description:
This course is intended to extend basic rifle skills, it is intended for experienced rifle shooters to move their ability past the 100 yard line and improve overall skill for plinking, target shooting, competition and hunting.
Goals:
Review the basics of rifle shooting and safety
Teach the theory and techniques of marksmanship
Practice the skills necessary and practical drills for shooters to advance beyond the course
Requirements:
Basic rifle skills in the standard ”NRA Basic Rifle” positions at distances to 100 yards.
Reliable, quality centerfire rifle with scope or iron sights.
100 rounds of match grade ammunition (factory match preferred, hand-loads must be made by shooter and pre-approved by instructor)
Resources:
Classroom A, Rifle line (open to other shooters under RO Control)
Evaluation:
Display safe firearm handling skills, Ability to shoot 5 shot group at 1” scoped, 2” iron sights, engage 12” target at 300yards

Written exam 80% req to pass. / Safe range skills / hits on specified targets at 100, 200 & 300 yards.
Anyone requesting LR Certification mus tdo thier homework and study th ematerials published on the club website before the March 26th session, then you will have an opportunity to "test-out" and be range qualified after the rest of the Rifle Marksmanship session is complete.
