Adam Roa has performed his spoken word poetry all over the world including the HIVE Global Leaders Program in San Francisco and Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica to name a few. His 1-man show, PERMISSION TO THINK FREELY, implements thought provoking personal development concepts with real world applicability and deep emotional exploration.
The evening starts off with musical artist Monique Benabou. Monique brings her sultry, powerhouse voice to the stage, inviting you within, through her conscious forward, high vibe lyrics and her grounded presence. Fully embodied in the divine feminine, Monique honors the creator through her art, a magical display of service, expression and gratitude to something so much bigger than us all—this is her medicine and offer to the world. Come prepared to be changed!

Message from Adam:
As a kid growing up, I had a problem with authority. Not all authority. Just the people who expected me to blindly follow their orders without ever asking them "why?". And despite the difficulties this presented as I managed to piss off my parents, my teachers, and my employers, I refused to give up my right to question everything. My right to think the thoughts I wanted to think and explore all the ways I thought we could do things better.
This insatiable desire to examine even the most widely accepted beliefs has served me well as an entrepreneur. It's served me really well as a coach and speaker. And it has given me the color pallet with which I now paint my poetry. I believe our society, our entire planet, could benefit from that one question that continues to drive me: why? Why does war continue to exist? Why are pipelines being built where they can destroy clean water? Why do we think the thoughts we think?
I don't have the answers. I'm not pretending to. I'm simply giving you permission.
Permission to think freely.
