How might we intentionally plan for students’ emotional arcs through project-based learning? Participants will craft curriculum by designing for the emotional arc that students experience, and maximize their learning potential through thoughtfully sequencing project-based learning core practices. You will create an emotional journey for students built on authentic questions, as well as the tools of design thinking, narrative structure, and inclusive pedagogy. You will leave with an outline of an original PBL curriculum focused on maximizing engagement, access, and challenge for each and every student.
