Everyone experiences stress, but for some children moderate to severe anxiety can interfere with their school work, their relationships and their ability to function. This workshop will help you recognize the symptoms of anxiety and learn strategies for helping your child manage stress and anxious feelings. We’ll also discuss how parents themselves can deal with the stress of raising an anxious child.
This workshop will be led by Michelle Kelley, LCSW. Michelle is a licensed counselor with over 25 years of experience working with adults, children and families. She is the Owner and Clinical Director of Warrenton Women's Counseling Center. Educating and suppor ting parents with anxious children is a passion of hers.
