A detailed overview of the process for applying for the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the federal loan / grant program created by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act including small group open format question and answer.
The PPP application process is open to ALL businesses (including contract and gig workers) active on February 15, 2020 and grants up to 2.5 times one month of wages or net earnings from self-employment.
The presentation will cover the current status of the program, what PPP lenders require, how to prepare your documents, tracking the grant to ensure it's forgivable, and options for finding lenders if your normal bank doesn't offer US Small Business Administration (SBA) loan servicing.
This presentation assumes participants have already have a basic 101 on the program, eg, having attended my free webinar at https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=8p9AbMVnEBs&feature=emb_logo
or reading the basics from the SBA at https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options/paycheck-protection-program-ppp
