Thank you for your interest in PreventionFIRST!'s Faith Based Toolkit.
The toolkits are made possible with funding from the Ohio Dept. of Mental Health & Addiction Services through the state CURES Act grant.
PreventionFIRST!, the Hamilton County Mental Health Recovery Services Board, and the Hamilton County Heroin Coalition hosted a “Building Prevention with Faith” event on April 9, 2019 at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Over 90 toolkits were distributed to the faith community.
The purpose of the event was to:
· To build relationships among leaders of the faith community from various denominations with prevention professionals
· To provide members of the faith community with substance misuse prevention education with an emphasis on the opioid crisis.
· To provide members of the faith community with the 2019 edition of PreventionFIRST!’s faith-based toolkit & other resources
