Volunteers are needed to assist the Optimist Club of Arlington to prepare for their annual Christmas Tree Lot! Volunteers are needed to unload trees from the flatbed truck to the lot.
This event takes place on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, from 8:00 am to approximately 11:00 am. Volunteers will meet at the Wells Fargo Parking lot at 2213 N Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA. This is bus accessible via the 23 A and 23 T as well as 3Y and ART 55. This is about 2 miles away from the Ballston Metro Station. There is limited free on-site parking. You may also park in nearby neighborhoods. DO NOT park in the M&T lot.
Volunteers should be able to stand and bend and lift up to 25 pounds. Volunteers will meet at the Wells Fargo Parking lot at 8:00 am and will work until approximately 11:00 am. Free coffee, donuts and water!
This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately. You may want to wear gloves.
