Living in a Gulf coast state, we all know that when it comes to natural disasters, it is a matter of “when” and not “if” it will happen. Much of the time we think about being physically prepared with extra food and water, which are of utmost importance for weathering the storm.

But what about afterward?

Þ What about the psychological and emotional impact of facing a hurricane, tornado, or flooding?

Þ  What can we do to psychologically and emotionally prepare our clients to face a natural disaster?

Attend this free online training seminar for Mississippi Counselors, Social Workers, and MFTs and learn techniques to help clients and the community psychologically and emotionally prepare for and overcome disasters unique to the Gulf Coast.

 Earn 3CE hours for attending!

Approved by NBCC for Professional Counselors
