Page Executive and Academy Ambassadors are pleased to invite you to a business engagement online event with:

Baroness Berridge, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Schools System

Mark Lawson-Jones, Partner, Page Executive

and

Guest speakers: David Hawker, Chair of the Board at Create Partnership Trust and Anne Casey, Academy Ambassadors' Regional Adviser, who will offer an insight into the role of a NED in education.

Thursday 21st January, 2021, 10.30am – 11.30am.

Gain leadership and board experience whilst creating better life-chances for young people. Governance experts and business leaders are coming together to discuss the challenges and benefits of non-executive roles in education. Baroness Berridge will outline her vision for education in England and how becoming an academy trustee can help to shape the lives and life chances of young people, while helping to develop the social and economic success of the UK.

With two vastly experienced guest speakers offering their own view, insight and experiences of life as a NED in education, we will hear analysis on the education landscape, discuss priorities in the region and answer questions on becoming an NED.

The event will also provide the opportunity to network with peers from a diverse range of industries in the region.

In order to manage ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the event will be delivered via Zoom and all delegates will receive a link to access the event upon registration.
