MORNING SESSION:  WHAT IS ON LINE BRANDING?  (10:00 - 11:30am)

Nancy Ritzman, Simple Referral Network

Learn why online branding is necessary for today's small businesses

Everyone has heard about most of the online branding solutions for small companies, such as LinkedIn, websites, Google, Social Media, Videos, etc., but do you really understand why online branding is a priority for small businesses? What is online branding anyway? How is online branding relevant to your customers and how will it help grow your business?

LUNCH SESSION: TIPS FOR TAKING BETTER PHOTOS FOR ONLINE USE

John Becker, Red Wing Framing & Fine Art Printing

Over lunch, hear tips on ways to improve the quality of the photos you take for online use. The advent of smartphones means a camera is often within reach and makes snapping pictures very easy. But without careful planning, those photos may not show off what you want them to show off.

AFTERNOON SESSION: YOUR BRAND AND SOCIAL MEDIA    (1:00 - 2:45pm)

Nancy Ritzman, Simple Referral Network

Learn how to use social media to expand your reach and grow your customer base.

Did you know your customers use social media to research companies and people before deciding who they are going to do business with? They are looking at your online branding and additional info about your goods and services on Social Media. We will answer the burning questions: What is Social Media; Why the different social channels; Advertising campaigns on Social, really and How do I start using it to find more customers?

OPTIONAL CLOSE TO YOUR DAY: TRAM TOUR OF THE ARBORETUM GROUNDS          (3:00 - 3:55pm)

For $6, you can take a guided tour highlighting the Arboretum's collections, display gardens and demonstration gardens. If you choose not to take the tram tour, you are welcome to stay for an additional question & answer session with Nancy.
