Westwinds Music Society is excited to offer the following workshop to continue our goal of learning, performing and having fun! Please read details below and stay tuned for registration details… These workshops are open to EVERYONE – not just Westwinds members – so sign up, bring a friend and share the love of music! This is a comprehensive one-day workshop which will include the following: • masterclasses that are instrument specific - learn tips and tricks about playing your instrument from professionals (clinicians will be on hand) • sectionals to prepare the performance repertoire • optional theory lesson (two levels to choose from) • rehearsal • a short concert to finish your day There will be two levels of instruction: 1) slightly challenging for our Blue Band members and at an appropriate level for many of the Bronze Band 2) challenging for some of our Bronze Band members and an appropriate level for Silver Band *minimum 50 registrants required

Westwinds is a not-for-profit Adult community organization operated by and for its members. Regardless of your level of experience, we have a spot for you in one (or more) of our 6 concert bands, 5 jazz bands or 4 choirs. These groups rehearse, in a structured learning environment, once per week from 7 pm to 9 pm, from September through May.
