What is one voice?
one voice is an inter-generational, inter-denominational para-church ministry created by women for women that seeks to glorify God by strengthening and unifying women around the essentials of the orthodox Christian faith, while at the same time strengthening the relationships of individual women with other women from their own local assemblies.
We love both the universal and the local church.
For that reason, we seek to unify all Christian women around the essentials of the Christian faith, while at the same time strengthening the relationships of women with other women within their own local assemblies.
We will do this by inviting groups of women from different churches in the Tri-State area to an inter-denominational Saturday morning women’s fellowship.
This fellowship will have two key components:
An inter-denominational worship, prayer and teaching session which includes a brief spotlight on international mission to women.
Followed by small group breakout sessions in which the women will be given the opportunity to fellowship, pray, and discuss the morning’s teaching with each other.
Women will be provided with a set of discussion questions relevant to the morning’s teaching. These questions will have been formulated to build on the truth of God’s Word, foster love and loyalty for God and each other, and strengthen them in their commitment to endure in faith together.
In the breakout session time women will be encouraged (although not forced) to meet with other women from their own church families.
There will also be concern based small group opportunities for all the women such as a group specifically for women struggling with divorce or other sensitive issues.
Every second Saturday 9 am to 12 pm starting September 8, 2018 through April 13, 2019.
