An Afternoon Tea to celebrate the 100-year anniversary since some women won the right to vote in the United Kingdom. Expect guest speakers Professor Claire Taylor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Education at Glyndwr with 'Learning Without Limits: Unlocking potential for all' and Georgina Gittins with 'The Suffragette Movement in Wrexham'.
There will be choral singing as well as (of course!) lovely cakes and scones and friendly faces.
Tickets are also available to purchase from MP Ian Lucas's office on Rhosddu Road, Wrexham LL11 2NS for £10 without a booking fee.
Any proceeds from this event will be donated to WINGS Wrexham, a project which sources and donates sanitary prodcuts to women and girls in need.
