Meditation Playdates for parents with infants and toddlers

FREE TO ATTEND, Registration required (space is limited!)

April 8 at 10:00
Ballard Public Library

We practice mindfulness with small children - cuddle, nurse, and let
them play - while parents sit in silence following a guided meditation,
being present to whatever unfolds. It works beautifully with infants
and toddlers alike.
This practice is open to all parents and primary caregivers. No previous
meditation experience is necessary.

This is a demo Meditation Playdate. There will be an introduction, then a 20 minute guided meditation followed by sharing and Q&A. Kids in arms or at play while parents practice being silently present.

ABOUT ELA & PARENTSPAUSE: I remember vividly this feeling of isolation and being overwhelmed after I moved to a new city with a small baby. While grateful for having the choice to be full-time mom, I was craving opportunities to pause, to meditate, reconnect with myself and connect with like-minded parents. This is when it all started.
