Mindfulness is a scientifically-based training of the mind to pay attention to the here and now with an openness, curiosity, and kindness. It reduces stress and can create increased happiness, attention, memory, behavior, and performance in youth and adults alike. This training will give an overview of the importance and benefits of mindfulness in addition to introducing some active practicing of mindfulness exercises.
