Ochoco Campout 2019

The Juniper Group Ochoco Campout 2019 is coming up! Experience the stillness of a ponderosa hillside, forest scents, Ochoco Creek’s gurgles, the shining infinity of a night-time sky. Isn't it time for a Nature weekend?

Directions from Prineville:  Travel approximately 15 miles east on Highway 26.  Turn right at the junction to Walton Lake and Big Summit Prairie (County Road 123), then continue for approximately 7 miles.  Turn left onto Forest Service Road 2610 and cross Ochoco Creek.  Watch for Sierra Club directional signs as you get closer, and Ochoco Forest Campground will be on your right.

Reservations are limited. Families with children are welcome (no charge for children under 18).  A limited number of camper vehicles can be accommodated in the parking lotplease email us if you’d like to bring a camper.  Our email: juniper.group@oregon.sierraclub.org with Ochoco Campout in the subject line.
