In partnership with Trinity Church, the Newport String Project will perform Mozart's String Quartet in D Major K 575 "The Violet", alongside antiphons by medieval Benedictine mystic Hildegard von Bingen. The program will also feature an impressionistic string quartet by little known Dutch composer Henriette Bosmans, as well as Lou Harrison's boisterous Estampie.

This event is co-sponsored by Music at Trinity.

The project is anchored by the residency of its ensemble in residence, the Newport String Quartet.
