Dinner Details
What is it? Honey Day is a backyard barbeque hosted by Not My Boys, a local website. The purpose of Honey Day is to allow families an opportunity to get together in a low cost and stress free environment for fun and fellowship, while at the same time supporting a charitable cause. See old friends and meet new ones.
What is the charity? Not My Boys subsidizes the costs of this event, so the proceeds go to charity. This year the charity is The Family Effect, which works to reduce addiction as a leading cause of family collapse and harm to children in our community.
What is a plate? A plate includes smoked meat and sides. No "to go" plates before 7:00 p.m.
To drink? BYOB.
What should I wear? The event is truly in Brandt's (awesome) backyard so wear what is comfortable. Rain or shine, we'll have a great time.
Got a conflict? It’s OK, do both. Come in your tux for all we care.
Will there be music? Glad you asked. Jupiter Coyote will be doing a two man show. Their new CD will be on sale with sales proceeds going to the charitable donation.
Is it really for all ages? Of course. Last year the youngest in attendance was an infant, and the oldest was over 80. Come one, come all.
