NOFNEC is a “don’t miss” event and has become the cornerstone venue for anyone interested in discussions concerning finding the balance between economic and resource development and protecting First Nations communities, people, lands, and lifestyles. The Northern Ontario First Nations Environment Conference is aimed at helping professionals from First Nations communities to network with each other, meet representatives from organizations interested in First Nations concerns and gain training related to the environment in their communities.
