The SHM North Jersey Chapter will be holding an in-person meeting on Thursday, March 21st at 6:30 p.m. ET at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, NJ. Please join the chapter for networking and for an educational presentation titled "Artificial Intelligence in Hospital Medicine," provided by Dr. Moiz Kasubhai.

Dr. Moiz Kasubhai graduated from Mumbai University, India, where he obtained his MBBS Medical degree. Following which he completed his Internal Medicine Residency from India, United Kingdom and H+H Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, NY. Moiz is presently the Associate Chair of Medicine and Chief Hospitalist in the Department of Medicine and Leads Data and Analytics at H+H, Lincoln Hospital and also a Physician Advisor to Healthcare Technology Companies. He has also completed a course in AI in Healthcare at MIT. Moiz is really excited about the intersection of AI/ML Tools in Healthcare for augmenting Physician’s and Healthcare system’s ability for making evidence-based decisions at a patient and population level and easing administrative burdens, but is aware of the ethical issues such as implicit biases, which can affect equity and equality.
