The SHM North Jersey Chapter will be holding an in-person event on Thursday, April 20th at 7:30 p.m. ET at McLoone's Boathouse in West Orange, NJ. Please join the chapter for networking and for an educational presentation titled "Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment of Opiate Use Disorder in the Inpatient Setting," provided by Dr. Emily Gordon. 

Dr. Gordon is a board certified internal medicine physician who completed her residency in Social Internal Medicine and Primary Care at Montefiore Medical Center. She joined the faculty at New Jersey Medical School in 2012 and provides primary care to patients at the clinic affiliated with University Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include treatment of opioid use disorder, physician wellness and narrative medicine.
