Cost: $100.00. A $20.00 deposit reserves your seat in the class. Remaining balance of $80.00 must be paid the morning of the class by cash only. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied to another class if the student is unable to attend.
 
This class is required by North Carolina to obtain a Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.
 
This course is comprised of eight hours of mandatory classroom training where the following topics will be covered:
 
- North Carolina Laws
 
- Handgun Safety
 
- Handgun Types and Nomenclature
 
- Marksmanship Fundamentals
 
- Cleaning and Maintenance - Students will be required to field strip and clean their firearm.

The class will then move to the range, where we will conduct some Proficiency Drills and shoot the 30 round qualification course.
 
Students will need to bring:
Quality Semi-Auto handgun or revolver. We will have a few loaner firearms available, but the student is responsible for providing ammunition (loaner weapons are 9mm).
Cleaning equipment for handgun being used.
At least 100 rounds of quality ammunition for the firearm you intend to shoot (the more, the better).
Weather-appropriate clothing (we shoot rain or shine).
Sunscreen, insect repellent, and method of hydration.
Eye and Ear protection.
Brimmed hat recommended, but not required.
Low cut shirts and open-toed shoes will not be permitted in the class.
