The Retreat is our annual gathering for men who have completed the Rites of Passage, a program originally developed by Fr. Richard Rohr and friends to help create elders in our society where the dominant characteristic of aging is growing old rather than wise.

We gather in January of each year to remind each other of our shared vision and renew our strength in becoming Learners and Elders together.

This particular retreat will be focused around the theme of Non-Violent Communication. Two of our Elder team, Nick Simons and Steve Thomas will lead us through drumming, ritual and practice to learn ways of speaking to the other that do not carry violence.
