The Nokota® Young Horse-Handling Clinic is for those of you who want to have a better understanding of why horses respond the way they do. You will learn how to take an unhandled horse and get him to respond positively to the things you are asking. You don’t have to be a “colt-starter” to do this clinic. Each person and horse will be brought along at their own speed.

The horses will be young, 2-year-olds up to 6-year-olds, and have had very little human interaction. These horses are exceptionally sensitive, intuitive creatures.

Most of the horses have never even been haltered! Each participant will be assigned a horse, and Jack will help each individual work with them on a one-on-one basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for guidance in dealing with young, or sensitive, horses. If you would like to work with the horses from the ground, but are unsure about taking the first ride, you are still allowed to participate.

This clinic is a must for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of horse psychology. Clinic participants will leave with a newfound appreciation of the innate behavior of the species as well as valuable insight into their own horse as well.
