New Year's Day Virtual Drum Circle

Engage your body in releasing stress by playing, pounding, moving and saying goodbye to 2020.  Breath in the energy of rhythm and welcome 2021 at this Virtual Drum Circle.  Did you know group drumming Improves immune, aerobic and cardiovascular systems and reduces stress, anxiety, depression and feelings of loneliness. This virtual drum circle will bring us together in music making and support as we release stress and reset ourselves for 2021 - all through drumming and rhythm. 

NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE NEEDED!  You can use found sounds in your home, or if you have instruments use those. Found sounds include plastic buckets and trash cans for drums; boxes of pasta or beans for shakers; rings of keys for bells, etc. Your registration email will include more ideas for found sounds, including a YouTube Video from M3 Music Therapy. Children are welcome, but the activities will be geared towards adults. The circle will be facilitated by Michelle Montgomery Muth, MT-BC who’s job it is to guide the music making and support each of you in feeling comfortable.
