New Way to Walk Style Show and Silent Auction

Grace Home in Blanchard is excited to announce its first all women’s gathering and fundraising event of 2019.  A New Way to Walk is set for Thursday, April 4 at The Hall at The Railhouse (102 W. Eufaula) in Norman, OK.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the evening will feature a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, and a style show with Grace Home residents and community members modeling on-trend fashion pieces for the spring season.  The event will also showcase how Grace Home has prepared its residents for a successful future.  In addition, the evening will include featured speaker, A.J. Griffin, former Oklahoma State Senator.  

While at Grace Home, a large focus is placed on how to prepare the ladies for success in the professional/job realm after completing their stay. The residents of Grace Home have been equipped with interview skills, how to write a resume, social etiquette, and the importance of business attire and makeup guidelines. A New Way to Walk is the first opportunity for the ladies of Grace Home to demonstrate all they’ve learned in this area.
