High Street Baptist Church, 900, Springfield, MO, 65802, United States.

Join other parents of 0-3 year olds with Down syndrome on Saturday, March 3, 2019 from 9 AM -11 AM for a great morning of networking and sharing questions, fears, success stories, and resources. We know that starting on the Down syndrome path can be like drinking from a fire hose, but this casual morning with other parents in the same boat as you along with a few seasoned parents who have been there and done that are here to provide support, and relieve some of that pressure you may be feeling when it comes to your new little one.

This breakfast is also for extended family members; Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who have questions about language to use, what to do when asked about their newest family member, and how they can offer support to mom and dad.

Breakfast and childcare is provided. Please RSVP by February 26th, 2019 to ensure a good count for food and childcare. If you have any questions on this event, feel free to call the DSGO office at 417-885-9905 or e-mail McKayla Baker; Program Director at mckayla@ozarksdsg.org.

Down Syndrome Innovations

www.kcdsi.org

The Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks was originally created by six families wanting to make a difference in the lives of their children with Down syndrome. With their ideas, the leadership of Lynn Neidigh and the support of both the St. Louis & Kansas City groups, DSGO officially became a 501 (c)(3) in 2006. We have come a long way but know that there is still much more that we can do to make our mission an everyday reality. Your donation of time, talent, in-kind service and/or financial support all plays a huge part in our continued growth. Join us in making a difference!
