The All-Island Innovation Programme is an InterTradeIreland funded programme established to promote and encourage innovation across the island.

In this is a unique event, the all-island innovation programme is bringing perspectives from two different institutions to discuss the SME response and recovery from the pandemic.

Dr. Lawrence Dooley, UCC and Dr. Adam Frost, QUB, will go head-to-head to examine the implications of the Covid-19 crisis for the SME community. They’ll discuss how small firms can re-start, re-open, and face a new reality. Crucially they’ll also focus on future opportunities.

InterTradeIreland’s approach is building value through collaboration - to increase opportunity and mutual economic benefit. This webinar will offer insight and practical advice that listeners can apply to their business now.

•Challenges that SMEs will face when re-opening operations;

•Steps that management can take to aid the re-start and adapt to the new reality;

•Supports available to nurture SME transition ;

•Opportunities that may emerge for SMEs as a consequence of this 'unwelcome' disruptive shift to the global economy.

This online session will go live on June 17th 2020 at 11am via webinar.   While free to attend, it is necessary to register in advance through the link https://uccinnovationeventjune2020.eventzilla.net/.
