NAR’s Military Relocation Professional Certification (MRP)
When military staff and their families relocate, no two situations are alike. The services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and timetables can make the transition much smoother and less stressful. The Military Relocation Professional Certification Course is intended to educate real estate professionals about working with current and former military service members to find housing solutions that best suit their needs – as buyers and sellers – and take full advantage of military benefits and support.
Learning Objectives:
*Learn the processes and procedures involved in a military relocation and how these impact service members’ relocation and housing choices.
*Use demographics of the military market to formulate business strategies and determine service offerings for sellers and buyers.
*Provide information to help members through a rent or buy, sell or rent decision-making process.
*Enhance our sensitivity to the emotional issues involved when a military family relocates.
*Explain the basics of VA financing and recognize situations in which a buyer is eligible for VA financing.

1. Be a member in good standing with NAR
2. Complete the 1-day MRP Certification Core Course
3. Complete two 1-hour Webinars
1. VA Home Purchase Financing and Options for Disabled Service Members and Veterans
2. VA Compromise Sale
4. Submit your application with the $195 one-time application fee.
