We will name the girl goats in the order we receive payment. Stay tuned to Facebook where we will post each birth. We are giving special naming rights to the first 5 goats of each gender. If you are unable to visit the farm, let us know and we will send you photos of the goat you named! If you do visit, we write their names on their collars so you can have a find search to find your special friend!
This year we thought it would be fun to allow people to name the first 5 goats of each gender born this season! You get a chance to honor someone you love with a one of a kind gift or remembrance (or just get the fun of coming up with an awesome name) and we get some help with naming and also a bit of help with the first vet bills before farm income kicks in again when the cheese shop opens.

Sunflower Farm is a NoCull farm in Cumberland Maine. We have consciously created a farm which is our answer to the horrors of factory farming. We treat our animals with great kindness and they make our lives richer in so many ways! We believe that by being a farm that has an open door policy allows other to understand how unique and wonderful each goat is, and also to show that there are ways of raising animals that people can feel good about.
