PARKING INFORMATION - Limited parking at Mountainside Montessori School will be available for those who need special assistance. For all others, please proceed directly to our parking area at the Fauquier Livestock Exchange (7404 John Marshall Highway, Marshall, Virginia 20115). The mission of Mountainside Montessori School is to provide a beautiful, rural environment for children to develop their own joy of learning and self-confidence. We strive to meet the highest standards set forth by AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) while giving each child the time, the guides, and the environment to develop at his own pace, in his own way. We follow the child in all that we do, and we depend on our community of families to support and uphold our ideals. For the past 12 years, Mountainside has been providing Montessori education for children from Fauquier, Prince William, and Culpeper counties. In 2010, our mission expanded to include sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, and free play in nature. As our purpose grew, so did our school community. In 2015, we opened a new 10-acre campus on Belvoir Road in Marshall, VA, which allows us to serve children from birth through ninth grade, as well as offer programs to the community at large.
