Yelyzaveta Pysmak - AI Partial Approval - Free

The workshop will be devoted to creating animated versions of selected prints by the Japanese painter and woodcut artist Ando Hiroshige (1797–1858). Students under the supervision of professors Edyta Adamczak, Yelyzaveta Pysmak and Jakub Karpoluk will create animations that will become the basis for large–scale immersive installations (animated pictures) that will be presented during the Hiroshige Educational exhibition, which will be opened at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Krakow, April 2024. The Animating Hiroshige project results from cooperation between PJAIT and the Manggha Museum. Its goal is to create audiovisual installations that will familiarize viewers with the work of one of the most important Japanese artists related to ukiyoe woodblock printing. The workshop is intended for students interested in Japanese art and animation. It plans to create both animated films using conventional techniques and animation based on AI tools.
