Laurie attended Rutgers University where she obtained dual degrees: a Master’s in Social Work and a Doctorate in Law. As a result of these dual, professional degrees, she passionately adheres to her therapeutic training whereby you empower others while offering professional support and knowledge. As a legal professional, it is her belief that you, your family, and most importantly, your children, come first…and all voices should have value.

Collaborative law (also called collaborative practice, divorce, or family law) is a legal process enabling you and your spouse or partner the support, protection, and guidance of your own lawyers in order to avoid the uncertain outcome of court and to achieve a settlement that best meets the specific needs of both parties and their children without the underlying threat of contested divorce litigation.
