Class Description: 
Bring your creativity and inspiration to explore this modern twist on printmaking without a press!  

Jennifer will demonstrate monotype printmaking on an Art Gelli Plate. In this class, students will gain an understanding of acrylic color mixing and layered monotype printmaking. Students will learn to apply different textures, stencils, and a variety of handmade tools.  By the end of the workshop, you will have made many completed prints to use for Art on your walls, collages, scrapbooks or stationary.

Materials:   

All supplies are furnished and no previous artistic experience is needed!  

Wear an old shirt or bring an Apron.  

About the Instructor:   

A native of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jennifer Reitmeyer has been learning, teaching, inspiring, and creating Art since she was a child. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from Indiana State University and currently holds a Indiana Teaching License in Art K-12.
