MNRD including MN Frostbite is being recognized at the Saint Paul Saints baseball game on Tuesday, August 3rd, for "Obscure Sports Night!" This fun opportunity is replacing Frostbite skating practice that night.
This Eventzilla page is for Frostbites to sign up to walk in the pre-game recognition ceremony. Wear a shirt/jersey with Frostbite logo, MNRD logo, or wear PURPLE!
Frostbites walking in the pre-game parade will need a Saints ticket to attend this event. This special Saints ticket package includes an "Obscure Sports Night" t-shirt. Have you paid for the skater to attend a summer 2021 session Frostbite practice?
- If YES, then MNRD will pay for the Frostbite's Saints discount ticket. If you can, we ask for a $12 contribution to help offset the cost differenece. As an important courtesy, sign up only if you know you'll attend, and if we're buying your ticket, please notify us if your plans unexpectedly change! - If NO, then the skater can still walk in the pre-game parade with us but will need to buy their own admission ticket to attend.
Additional SUPER IMPORTANT info:
Arrival Time: On August 3rd, the front gates of CHS Field will open to all fans at 5:30PM. We ask that Obscure Sports Night participants arrive at the stadium between 5:30 and 5:45 to allow for plenty of check-in time.
Check-In: The Saints will hold Obscure Sports Recognition Night check-in out of the left field corner (directly adjacent to the Craft Beer Corner). This area is easily accessible from either entrance in the ballpark, and several ushers will be available to direct you to the table. Once you arrive at the check-in area, we will issue T-Shirts or Saints hats of greater value (depending on your preference) and issue a numbered slip to your group representatives.
Preparing for the Recognition Ceremony: The numbered slip issued to your group at the check-in table will serve as your order in the ceremony. Saints staff members will direct your group to the warning track at 6:00PM once all groups have been ordered.
The Pre-Game Recognition Ceremony: The Saints will welcome representatives from your group to proceed around the warning track and be announced over the PA system for recognition. This ceremony will begin sometime between 6:15 and 6:20.
Waiver Form: The Saints are requesting that everyone wishing to be included in the recognition ceremony fill out an electronic waiver form on the day of the game. Expect a "Know Before You Go" email from me on August 3rd that will include the waiver form for your on-field group representatives.
Schedule for August 3rd, 2021 at CHS Field
- 6:30PM Pre-game recognition ceremony (on the field)
- 7:00 National anthem
- 7:05 MNRD throws out the ceremonial first pitch!
- Then, hang out with your Frostbite friends and enjoy the game!

To make a ticket purchase, you will need to create a Saints ticket account or enter your existing account information when prompted. Both of those options will be made available to you after you select your seats. After your ticket and T-Shirt packages are purchased, you will receive a prompt to select your T-Shirt sizes.
