Help us get our house in order! We’re a young organization turning a 125-year-old church into a community space and need help getting things organized and tidied up. We could use a hand with paint touch-ups in the Sanctuary, unloading and organizing boxes from the library and basement, moving couches, and creating a comfortable, functional space for our neighbors and community partners to hold events and programs. We'll fire up the earth oven and make pizzas to keep us full and energized throughout the day!
Boys & Girls Club is a youth program dedicated to providing kids with a safe and fun place for development. You will be spending the day with children playing gym games and creating arts and crafts. Please wear comfortable clothing & sneakers!
Volunteers will be leading and assisting residents at this nursing home with therapeutic activities.
Covenant House provides shelter, food, and immediate crisis care for homeless and runaway youth. Volunteers will assist in this home by cleaning the basement; organizing files and basement supplies; and cleaning up driveway debris. Please wear sneakers & clothes that you would not mind getting dirty.
Volunteers will be interacting and visiting adults with disabilities by helping with games, arts & crafts, etc. Please wear closed toed shoes and please no large/dangly jewelry.
Covenant House provides shelter, food, and immediate crisis care for homeless and runaway youth. Volunteers will assist in this home by cleaning the garages. Please wear sneakers & clothes that you would not mind getting dirty.
Volunteers will be assisting in a MLK Service provided for the residents at this nursing home.
Volunteers will help sort & pack medical supplies for shipment to public hospitals serving the poor in the developing world.
Volunteers will be assisting at this food pantry by bagging produce; food distribution; organizing/restocking shelves; setting up grocery bags that will be distributed to clients.
Please join us in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King by providing service and helping others.
Note: This date is ONLY a snow date. If we cannot host on Monday, January 20th due to inclement weather, we will host on Saturday, January 25th. You are allowed to register for 1 ticket per date.
