It's Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day.Make it a day on, not a day off. Come together to help fight hunger. At Second Harvest, you will sort, organize and pack food for families in need. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer. Report to Second Harvest at 120 Roseway Dr. prior to 9am on Monday, January 16. This is a no-frills service opportunity. Please bring anything you will need to be comfortable, wear appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes. If you have an HOTC tshirt (any year, any program), this would be a great time to wear it! 2016/17 HOTC Tshirts available on a first-come, first-served basis for volunteers who did not receive one at a previous volunteer event day (while supplies last). Groups larger than 10 interested in volunteering should call the HOTC office at 226-5200.
