The Well “Mini Yogis” Series is an after school Yoga Club geared toward children in K-2nd grade. The classes are a fun and exciting way to either introduce new students to yoga, or continue to foster an interest in those that are familiar with it. Children's yoga is all about sparking interest, relationships, curiosity, and imagination. With a diverse mix of yoga and mindfulness activities, children will learn a variety of yoga asanas, including partner and group poses, as well as breathing games and meditation techniques. Several movement games offer opportunities for creative self-expression. Class is taught by Stephanie Rushin, a certified children's yoga instructor.
