About the Event

This weekend mindfulness training covers the classic Mindfulness 8 week curriculum in a weekend format suitible for those who are unable to attend an 8 week course.

Printed Workbook, MP3's for home practice, 20 hours of mindfulness training, meditation retreat day June 16th

Our evidence based 8-week course is based on the renowned Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme, taught in leading institutions worldwide, and originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and colleagues at UMASS Medical College; it includes components of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) developed by Mark Williams, John Teasdale and Zindel Segal at Oxford University, which specifically addresses negative thought patterns that can perpetuate stress, depression and anxiety; and Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) developed by Kristin Neff and Christopher Gremer a mindfulness based intervention that shows cultivating self-compassion helps to foster emotional resilience.
The course is a systematic training in mindfulness meditation and mindful movement, it is based on a cumulation of thousands of hours of clinical practice, research and personal experience. The primary intention is to provide a structured pathway to develop more freedom from suffering, stress and to enhance well-being of the participants. 

Mindfulness meditation has been quantified as having lasting positive effects on wellbeing, quality of life, performance, health and happiness, as demonstrated by a plethora of academic research across fields such as psychology, neuroscience and medicine. It’s simple and anyone can do it.

The Dream Haus is a contemporary mindful meditation and yoga studio based in Berlin. We offer secular, evidence-based training in meditation, yoga and contemplative practices, in English language. Our space is dedicated to insight, contemplation, and creativity, for learning to meditate and practicing mindfulness.
