Harmonising and directing consciousness is a primary factor in achieving flow states, breaking through creative blocks, radical ideation, problem-solving and honing technical prowess through applied focus. This course specifically teaches mindfulness in the context of creative practices. You will learn focused attention practices - to develop the ability to sustain focus, and open awareness practices - to promote a calm attitude to challenge and develop essential neural networks for ideation and creative thinking.
Mindfulness for Creatives is suitable for anyone interested in learning meditation and is especially relevant to self-employed, artist, designers, programmers and others who rely on sharp mental fitness, decision making and ideas for a living.
The investment includes group tuition, plus a half-day retreat (regularly offered on Saturdays), audio lessons for home practice, a printed workbook, and structured support as you develop a personal mindfulness practice.
