The American-Turkish Council is thrilled to lead the Midwest Manufacturing Trade Mission to U.S. The mission will be led by ATC’s Vice Chairman, Tamer Saka, and the dates are set for September 5-8, 2017. The trade mission will include stops in St. Louis, Indianapolis, Detroit, and Chicago, and participants will benefit from networking opportunities, state level government engagements, featured site visits, and targeted meetings with government and project management officials.

The United States is the largest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the world. As the global economy has developed, the United States is actively competing to retain and attract new investment.

Introduction to Local Government Officials

ATC will arrange meetings with the Economic Development Offices in each state for the delegation to learn about their unique business climate and understand the incentives for Foreign Direct Investment. 

B2B Meetings with Local Companies

The Vice Chairman’s Trip delegates will travel to 4 cities and attend pre-scheduled meetings, meet with potential trade partners, end users to understand the business environment in U.S.

Cancellation policy

 

  • The American-Turkish Council (ATC) reserves the right to cancel the trade mission due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the trade mission non-viable. If ATC cancels the mission, registrants will be offered a full refund of the registration fee. Refunds will be made to the person or entity that paid for the event.

  • The ATC has the right to pursue additional collection actions on delinquent invoices.

  • Registration for the trade mission will not be processed or confirmed until your payment is received.

  • Cancellations will be accepted via email or in writing and must be received by Friday, August 4, 2017.

  • Cancellations received after Friday, August 4, 2017 will not be eligible for a full refund. The registrant has the option of substituting another person to attend.

  • All cancellations that qualify for a refund will be credited either through a refund “check / wire / to credit card” payment or a credit will remain in the system that may be applied toward future courses.

  • All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee.

  • If a US visa is required to travel, applying for and obtaining the visa will be the responsibility of the mission participant. Government fees and processing expenses to obtain a US visa is not included in the participation fee. However, the ATC will provide a proof of attendance and information regarding the trip.
