EAA has cancelled AirVenture 2020 and the Mooney Caravan to Oshkosh will not happen this year. This training clinic for the Caravan is consequently cancelled as well.

SIGN-UP DEADLINE
May 15, 2020. This is to allow us to get enough Observer/ Safety Pilots for the course. These volunteer pilots will be coming at their own expense from several states as remote to HKY as New York and Mississippi. We need time to organize how many are required. We will attempt to get everyone registered qualified to fly the Caravan so please SIGN UP EARLY.

REGISTRATION FEES
$125. Includes facility costs, One Clinic T shirt, transportation to/from hotel and meals at noted below. Guest registration is $50 to include meals and transportation. For a guest T shirt add $25.

TRANSPORTATION
You fly in and we will get you back and forth on the ground with the FBO’s 15 passenger van at our disposal. Anyone getting a rental or having a personal car available would be appreciated and pressed into service. The hotel has a 5 passenger courtesy van and Uber services are available.
MEALS
Breakfast and lunches at the FBO will be provided Friday and Saturday as a part of the base Registration Fee. Dinner together on both Friday and Saturday will be included in registration.
HOMEWORK
Download and read the Mooney Caravan Formation Guide prior to attending the clinic. The FFI Formation Guide, including the Mooney Supplement, can be found on their website: www.ffi.aero.
Ground school, and first timers: Watch the Video of the ground training also in the training section of the Caravan website. There is a lot of information on the Caravan website. Please do not wait until the night before the clinic if this is your first formation experience. The important items will be reviewed at the Basic Formation Ground School before we fly Friday, You need to have read the Guide(s) so that the information presented at the briefing will be somewhat familiar to you.
**Note: If you have not read a Guide (Mooney or FFI) prior to attending the formation clinic, you may not fly in the clinic.**
